Jānis Kūms
Former Latvian national orienteering team runner with a passion for trail running. As I am working full time and have a family with two kids, I categorize myself as amateur with a professional attitude.
Achievements:
2x bronze medalist in Latvian trail running championship.
2x winner at hardest Latvian trail marathon (Werewolf marathon).
4th place at Bodom trail in Finland 2019 (my highest ITRA scoring).
5th place at Volvic Volcanic experience marathon in France 2022.
Goals for 2023:
Couple of single races abroad (Volvic Volcanic experience in France 110km in May, World trail running championship short trail in June, Scenic trail 27km skyrace also in June), but my biggest goal will be to run very well in the Transgrancanaria marathon and if I am happy with my result, then I also will take part in at least 2 more Spartan trail world championship stages in the second part of the season.

Definitely the High Capacity Vest alone, or in combination with the Original Running Band for longer ultra races.
