ATHLETES

Ryan Becker

I started running pretty late in life (compared to many) and walked on to my college XC/T&F team, leaving with 2 All-American honors. I found mountain/ultra/trail running somewhat accidentally after moving to Boulder to try pursuing road running and triathlon more seriously, but the mountains were an easy sell. I've mostly focused and found success in the 50k distance, but am interested and beginning to pursue the longer, iconic races too. In 2025, I finished 2nd at the Lake Sonoma Marathon, qualified for Team USA for the World's Short Course Mountain race by finishing 3rd at the Broken Arrow 46k, and won the Speedgoat 50k. A few other notable wins include Kodiak Ultra Marathons 50k, McDowell Mountain 50M, Mt. Tam Trail 50k, Puerto Vallarta 50k, and Whistler Alpine Meadows 50k. I also have the Course Record at the Run the Rut Trifecta. While injury has often been a deterrent to a linear career in this sport, it has also given me the opportunity to regularly reflect on what has and remains important in my life, running, and movement in the outdoors. You can also find me worrying too much about how optimized my bike is, or trying too hard for mediocrity on Nordic or uphill skis. I just like being out there. Career-wise, I've worked in Brand & Analytics at a Fortune 3 company, wrenched on bikes, taught tennis, managed backcountry huts, served & bussed across pubs & fine dining, I was Marketing & Business Development Lead at a pre-seed Carbon Accounting startup, and I'm currently the General Manager and Sommelier at the #3 restaurant in Telluride. Life has its twists & turns, just keep going.

Noah Strickland

I am Noah Strickland - a Jesus Follower, a husband, and an Athlete currently based in southeast Tennessee. I began running seriously in early 2024, and went on to race and win my first 50k - The Lula Lake Trailblazer - later that year. Since then, I have gone all in, made plenty of mistakes, and learned lots of lessons. I take a lot of inspiration from my running heroes, and also recognize the uniqueness of my journey. Meeting and beating my goals has been a powerful motivator for me, but along the way, my commitment to running has morphed into more. It now extends beyond my personal goals; I see the beauty of the running journey and the value it has for both physical and mental health. I wanna share that with people. I truly believe getting people outdoors, connecting with God, the community, and the natural world could change the world for the better. In 2025, I placed 2nd in the Big 50 - 50k, and most recently 2nd Male in The Cherokee 70k. I believe I owe it to myself and the Lord to “ride this train” and see how far I can take it. We humans are capable of incredible things - all of us - let’s get out there and see what we can do.

Nicky Dupkin

Hi! I’m Nicky Dupkin, a 22-year-old ultramarathon runner from Long Island, NY. I started running in 2021 after reading Can’t Hurt Me by David Goggins and quickly fell in love with long-distance running. I was fortunate enough to walk onto my college’s cross country team, but I always knew I wanted to run ultras, so I used that experience as training for my first ultramarathon. Since running my first ultra in 2024, I’ve been hooked on the long-distance lifestyle. The joy, pain, suffering, and relief that running gives me is something I want to feel forever, and that’s why I keep lacing up
my shoes every day.
